Unlike other Mauritius luxury resorts, we offer 210 ocean-facing rooms at InterContinental Mauritius Resort Balaclava Fort, each with state-of-the-art in-room technology, a luxurious bathroom with deep stone bathtub and separate shower, a private balcony or terrace and sleek, modern interiors. There are four different room types to choose from, including family rooms, spacious suites and jacuzzi rooms with a private hot tub and private roof terrace. A baby crib is available on request, and an extra bed is available (one per room) at an additional charge.

With four restaurants and two bars, we offer a delectable range of cuisines, including authentic local dishes, fresh seafood and flavours from across the Indian Ocean. For an intimate dining experience in a romantic setting, our Asian-fusion restaurant, Noble House, offers candlelit tables both indoors and al fresco. Our Mauritian restaurant Segala offers an introduction to Mauritian culture through authentic dishes and drinks. We also offer themed evenings featuring Indian, Italian, Arabic and international fare, plus world-class wines, premium spirits and imported premium beers. To keep our carbon footprint as light as possible, we use locally grown produce whenever we can, including home-grown fruits and vegetables from our in-house organic gardens. We source freshly caught seafood daily from local fishermen and prepare our dishes in innovative ways, maximising flavour and nutrition.
